OFFER OF SCHOLARSHIPS BY THE GOVERNMENT OF MAURITIUS UNDER THE MAURITIUS – AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2016 TENABLE IN MAURITIUS

The Government of the Republic of Mauritius is offering scholarships for full-time, on campus undergraduate studies in public Tertiary Education Institutions (TEI’s) in Mauritius to deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union in 2016.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. Be Ghanaian citizens resident in Ghana.
  2. Not below 18 years and not more than 25 years of age.
  3. Have completed their Senior High School education and hold the most recent WASSCE certificates with aggregate between six (6) and fifteen (15)

  1. All candidates must, along with their application for scholarships, also have applied for a full-time on-campus undergraduate programme at a public TEI of their choice listed below;

  1. Obtain a conditional offer (letter of admission) from the chosen institution or acknowledgement notice from the institution as having applied for a place.
  2. ALL candidates must submit the fully completed Application Form and certified copies of the following documents as part of their application to the Scholarships Secretariat:
  1. Birth Certificate;
  2. Educational certificates and transcripts.
  3. Medical certificate to be filled and stamped by a registered medical practitioner in SECTION SIX of the Application Form;
  4. Conditional offer if available at time of application or acknowledgement notice of application submission by a public Mauritian TEI;
  5. Copy of passport biodata page, if available.

The closing date for submission is Wednesday, 20Th April, 2016
